For Vendors
View your past orders (vendor portal)
If your company has an access code from Modal, you can sign in to the vendor portal and see the last 50 transport requests you've submitted, along with their current status. Read-only — there's nothing to break by clicking around.
Where it lives
Signing in
- Go to /portal.
- Pick your company from the dropdown.
- Enter your access code (same one that unlocks templates on the /request form).
- You're in. The portal stays signed in for 24 hours; after that you'll need to enter the code again.
Don't have an access code? Contact your usual Modal contact and ask for one — same procedure as for the request form. Or use /request directly without one (no portal access until you have a code).
What you'll see
A simple table of your last 50 requests, most recent first:
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Submitted | When you sent the request (email or form) |
| Status | One of four labels — see below |
| Tracking # | OnTime360 tracking number once dispatch approves and books the order |
| Pickup | Pickup company + city/state + earliest time |
| Delivery | Delivery company + city/state + earliest time |
| Cargo | Description + pieces + weight + temperature class |
| Refs | AWB / BOL / PO / tracking numbers you submitted |
Status labels
- Pending review — Modal received your request and Troy is reviewing. Most requests sit here for less than an hour during business hours.
- Approved — Order created in OnTime360 and dispatched. Confirmation email already sent.
- Approved — sync delay — Modal approved the order but our OnTime360 push hit a temporary issue. Already flagged for retry. Your shipment is still going to happen.
- Rejected — Modal determined the email isn't a real shipment request (e.g., a marketing email, a billing notice, or a duplicate). If you think this was a mistake, contact Modal.
What this portal won't do
- Edit orders. Read-only by design. To change a pickup time or correct an address, reply to your original confirmation email or call dispatch.
- Cancel orders. Same — reply or call.
- Show real-time GPS. Tracking happens in OnTime360. If you have OT360 portal access (separate credentials), use that.
- Show internal Modal notes. Anything Troy adds during review is internal and not exposed.
Privacy
The portal only shows orders that came from your company — matched by either:
- The email domain on emails you sent us (e.g.,
phse.com) - The access code you used when you submitted via the form
You'll never see another vendor's orders, even if you guess at URLs.
Lost access
- Forgot the code: contact Modal — they'll generate a new one. The old one stops working immediately.
- Locked out (5 wrong attempts in 15 min): wait 15 minutes from your IP, then try again.
- Can't see an order you submitted: if it came from a different email domain (e.g., a personal Gmail forwarding to your work address), it won't link. Email Modal and reference the order number you got in the confirmation reply.
